KRISTI KIENHOLZ
Kristi is passionate about helping entrepreneurial leaders realize their vision through effective strategy and communications. Over the past 25 years, she has worked with dozens of leaders to sharpen their organizational strategy and goals—and then communicate them in a compelling manner to audiences that are critical to mission success. Kristi collaborates with members of her extensive network of qualified graphic designers, web developers, video and podcast producers, and photographers to help clients achieve their goals.
While her work usually starts with strategy and communications, she often moves to managing programs, helping with product development, and providing ongoing strategic consultation to the organization’s leaders.
Prior to launching her consulting practice in 2005, Kristi served in management positions (marketing, public affairs, and development) at Children’s Hospital, Boston; Massachusetts Audubon Society; and Old Sturbridge Village. Kristi taught marketing at the Institute for Nonprofit Practice, affiliated with Boston University and Tufts University, for 10 years and a course on Marketing Social Change in the Boston University School of Management for five years.
Kristi holds a BA from Williams College and a MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Kristi also holds a Certificate in Digital Marketing Fundamentals from the University of Vermont.
"Kristi has been a great communications partner to our entrepreneurial team—driving forward communications in an environment where project strategy was evolving quickly and iteratively. She is a strategic thinker, skilled at making the complex clear, and nimble in her approach. Her efforts to brand and market our program, delivering compelling stories and messages to our key audiences throughout, have been fundamental to our success."
