With funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Reos Partners launched the Emergency Aid Lab to help colleges reduce the number of students—currently estimated at 3 million—who drop out of school each year due to a small, unexpected expense. Through the Lab (social change process designed by Reos), Reos Partners brought together more than 100 higher education leaders, faculty, and students to determine how to design effective emergency aid programs on campuses. The learnings from this initiative have been synthesized into a comprehensive step-by-step program for creating a successful emergency aid program that will be offered to institutions across the U.S. Reos Partners hired Kienholz Communications to develop a communications strategy for the program, communicate key learnings among those in the lab, and develop content for and promote the final step-by-step program.
Scope of work: communications strategy, branding and graphic design management, marketing website, digital content, video, PowerPoint presentations, digital communications toolkit for institutions to promote emergency aid, and content development for the step-by-step program
